TulaJane works with businesses of all shapes and sizes to reduce their environmental impact. Our goals are to keep sustainability a top priority without compromising professionalism and economic success. TulaJane accomplishes these goals by looking at your day-to-day operations and determining what simple changes can be made to make your business more ‘green’.
The most commonly used definition of sustainability, from the Brundtland Commission, is “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." The idea of human sustainability has become increasingly associated with the integration of economic, social and environmental spheres, also known as the three P’s: Profit, People and the Planet.
We are confident that you know how to make your business profitable or your non-profit organization successful, and you have a great team of satisfied employees; what TulaJane is here to do is help you with the other P – the Planet.
How does sustainability coaching work?
The TulaJane team meets with you to discuss your goals and how best to achieve them. We look at where you are right now, where you want to be, and how long it will take to get you there.
We understand that there are varying shades of green; some organizations are ready to turn the deepest, darkest shade of green while others want to take it slowly, gradually moving from a lighter shade to a darker shade of green.
TulaJane is happy to work with all levels of commitment as long as the commitment to go green is evident. This is why we are calling ourselves coaches rather than consultants. To us, a consultant is someone who tells you what to do. As coaches we work with you to determine what your own goals and challenges are. We develop solutions together, so that these goals are attainable and comfortable to implement.
